It's good to see Cyan going out of their way to put out content like this on their YT channel. This is how you keep a niche, loyal fanbase engaged between releases.

i already own firmament and the whole franchise on GOG Galaxy but i have now just rebought them on steam, this franchise was my childhood, especially MYST III Exile

Love this! As someone who stood in line to get the original Riven after playing MYST almost until wearing the disk out, this definitely brings me WAY back 💜

Again, thank you for releasing the Riven remake! It's the most special game I've ever played and the remake is spectacular. I couldn't be more happy and I really appreciate all of the effort that has gone into the remake of a masterpiece. I actually feel quite emotional hearing the sounds and music again. Do you think there might be a remake of Myst III: Exile too? I know it's a lot to ask but Exile was just stupendous and I also loved Brad Dourif in it and bringing him back in FMV would be another dream come true! But, thank you!

I first played this on the PlayStation - where changing disks was a more significant event - and loved the hell out of it. The weather was hot at the time which somehow helped with the immersion. I especially seemed to feel it when riding that sub-on-rails beneath the water.

I just want to thank Infinity train for introducing me to Myst series! This show very was inspired by this game series. I highly recommend watching it!

Riven 2024 is so vastly different, forget all the puzzles, forget all the pathways, you know nothing! It is a brand new game.

I absolutely loved this on PC. Please, please bring this to the Nintendo Switch!!! I know the new graphics won't be as impactful on the Switch as on other consoles, but it's currently the only console I have since my computer died.

Tried it today and expected a remake of a game that I played as a teen. First I noticed the great graphics, then noticed that some details have changed. A while later I also noticed that you also expanded the original game. Love it!

After 'several' iterations of Myst, most of which I bought, I never thought I'd see Riven brought into the modern day, and I'm very glad it was. It was great to walk around Riven again, this time in full 3d. Hopefully more Myst games will come down the pipeline, but for now, thanks for this.

PS VR 2 version?

Bought it and completed it same day. Very beautiful. Some puzzles are changed too, which I didn't expect. It was great to walk around Riven once more. Exile? 😁

i heard about this game and believe it or not i actually thought this was a fan mad mod/project someone made i did not realize this was was offical game.

Cool but lets hope we can walk faster than that. Im used to cyberpunk “speed running” not sight seeing only

No live action actors like the original?

I don’t like how atrus just leaves you on d’ni and locks the myst book. He’s supposed to stay there to make sure that riven is stable and look out for the signal. Seems like he’s using you instead of a team effort

Too much changes from the original... I'm very disappointed that I couldn't walk the real Riven. It's still a great game, but it's not Riven. Nor for me at least...

The game is beautiful! My favourite areas are probably the Prison Island with the cut down sequoia tree, and Gehns Age with that added explorable area outside. That is Stunning 🤩 😮
